Art Quest Update 7-15-24

The quest continues, Fellow Creatures.   I’d like to say it’s been smooth sailing, but that would be far from the truth of late. Other priorities have taken the place of when I would be focusing on my art.   Mostly Summer activities, like sports and camp for the kids and a few vacations… which have all been a ton of fun. The (Art) Quest Continues

So I’ve been relatively consistent here, getting 30 minutes a day of drawing in alongside writing, family, and a full-time job.    I decided to start here, perspective drawing, per Radio Runner’s curriculum, and I gotta be honest, I started here because I knew it was going to be the biggest slog.  Drawing boxes, figuring out horizon lines and vanishing points, and working on drawing through… All important fundamentals I know I need to understand if I want to keep improving, yet still, I find myself rushing through this and making silly mistakes.   Overshooting my lines.
