Cover Reveal Time!

What’s that lurking around the bend in Elsewhere?

A new cover?!

Hot-diggity dog!

It’s true. My long-talked-about standalone, horror fantasy novel, Under a God-Made Mountain, finally has a face…

Ain’t she perdy?

A big shoutout to Noah Frase, my cousin and illustrator of some of my other books (the entire Chilongua series and Dragons of Elsewhere) for doing such a kick-arse job capturing the mood of the book in a single scene.

If you’ve been following along, you know that the cover depicts how Melk, the main character in the book, and the other five criminals end up at the top of Mount Methugarna, the holy prison in which they are forced to march their corrupt feet.

I know I’m biased, but I loved the details in the god hawk, and how beautifully he rendered the imposing mountain in the distance, and I am thrilled that this will be the introductory for readers moving forward for this story.

But enough about covers, for now, let’s talk release dates.

I’m not quite ready to share yet, but will be very soon.

While the story is (mostly) ready to go, I’m trying to align the rest of my efforts with a date that will make sense from a marketing standpoint and to ensure that enough of the ARC can get their hands on it.

I should be able to announce when that date will be in the next coming weeks. Although if you want to hear it soon, sign up for my newsletter and you’ll get the news quicker.

Regardless of when that will be, I’m excited to push it out into the world. This one’s a bit different than my other stories. More contained and introspective. Still dark, but definitely a change in tone from the scope of some of my other stories.

I really hope you’ll give it a shot and enjoy it!

More news to come.

Until then,

Stay scrumptious!

-Jeff
